 Eric
Abernathy founded Go Climbing for Kids-Ecuador with the goal of
combining his two passions: helping disadvantaged children and high-altitude
mountaineering. Eric lived and traveled throughout Latin America
while serving as founder and director of a Colombian based children’s
charity. He has climbed extensively throughout Colombia, Ecuador,
and Peru. He is married with an adopted daughter and plans on adopting
again in the future.
Henry Moya has over twenty years experience climbing all types
of mountains throughout South America. From Quito, Ecuador, he is
a member of the Ecuador Association of Mountain Guides (ASEGUIM),
the Bolivian Association of Mountain & Trekking Guides (AGMT)
and the International Association of Mountain Guides (UIAGM).
